Sticker Hunt
Today I tried a new game to play with Sora. Since it was passed her nap time but she’s still fully recharged, I need something to catch her attention, something fun yet still in a clear limited time. I mean it so she understand that after the game is over, it’s time to take her nap.
So, I came up with this idea, inspired by a blog post I read yesterday about a mom who teach name of things to her two years daughter with a piece of printed word. Instead of using word I used picture. (If you read my previous post, I am not into reading that much
)
Anyway these are what I used in this game (paper, crayons, scissor and double tape).
The steps are simple, I draw small picture of particular thing, then ask Sora to colour it, make a shape cut and put double tape on it so Sora can put the sticker on the real thing that she need to find before.
First I draw her favorite character Barney and a girrafe. Not necesarily beautiful drawing since I’m not that artiscic, but still clear enough for her to understand what it is.
She can find those plush easily since she know where to keep her toys. I noticed that she can figure the toys even when she only see a little part of it, she picked it and put the stickers on. So it worked for the rest of the hunt.
Her baby doll stroller,
Mega blok tree, haha a tree in indoor game. She manage the challenge though.
In this part, at first she put the sticker on Piglet head and found it very funny then do the same to other passengers until at the end decided to put on the last cart. It made the train longer I think.
Then I raised the game level by drawing hidden toys, duh you better pick all up after you finish lady.
After all the dump, she found the cup and put the sticker on,
and have a cup of tea, what could be better after a tiring game mom.
please have some.
